Bloom Notes | You Need Capacity for What You Prayed For

We spend a lot of time praying for increase.

More influence.

More income.

Greater opportunities.

Larger platforms.

Expanded businesses.

Leadership.

Impact.

Eventually, we must ask ourselves a harder question:

Do I currently have the capacity to sustain what I am asking God to give me?

Blessing carries weight too.

Growth places demands on your time.

Leadership places demands on your emotions.

Influence places demands on your character.

Opportunity places demands on your systems.

Success requires stewardship.

Luke 12:48 reminds us:

“For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.”

Sometimes we think preparation means learning another skill.

Sometimes it does.

Capacity also looks like emotional regulation.

Boundaries.

Rest.

Financial discipline.

Decision-making.

Delegation.

Healthy routines.

Knowing when to say no.

Knowing what deserves your attention and what does not.

God may already be preparing the answer to something you prayed about months ago.

Your responsibility is to prepare the vessel that will carry it.

Bloom Reflection

Where is your current capacity weakest?

Consider:

Your spiritual life.

Your emotional health.

Your finances.

Your time.

Your leadership.

Your systems.

Your relationships.

Your physical wellbeing.

Choose one area to intentionally strengthen this week.

Preparation is not evidence that nothing is happening.

Preparation is often evidence that something is coming.
