Dear Friend,
We live in a world that celebrates visibility.
Followers. Platforms. Titles. Recognition. Influence.
Scroll through social media for a few minutes and you could easily conclude that success is measured by how many people know your name.
Yet the Kingdom of God measures success very differently.
God is not first looking for visibility.
He is looking for faithfulness.
One of the greatest misconceptions about purpose is that promotion begins when the opportunity arrives.
It doesn't.
Promotion begins long before anyone notices.
It begins in the private places.
The unseen places.
The ordinary moments where no applause is given and no audience is watching.
Those are the places where character is formed and where Heaven often determines whether we are ready for greater responsibility.
The Hidden Season Has Purpose
Think about David.
Before he stood before Goliath, he faithfully tended sheep.
Before he wore a crown, he carried a sling.
Before people celebrated him publicly, God had already approved him privately.
No one applauded him for protecting
sheep from lions and bears.
No one posted about his courage.
Yet those quiet victories became the foundation for his public assignment.
Many of us are praying for Goliath moments while overlooking our sheep-field responsibilities.
God rarely promotes us beyond what we are willing to steward today.
The Danger of Chasing Platforms
One of the greatest temptations for leaders today is to pursue visibility before maturity.
We can become so focused on the next title, the next opportunity, or the next level that we neglect the work God is doing within us.
But influence without character becomes a burden rather than a blessing.
God loves us enough not to elevate us beyond what our character can sustain.
Perhaps the delay you've been questioning is actually God's protection.
Perhaps He is strengthening your roots before exposing your fruit.
