Bloom Notes | Alignment Before Ascension

Bloom Notes | Alignment Before Acceleration
Growth can be exciting.
New opportunities.
New relationships.
New ideas.
New invitations.
New possibilities.
One of the most important disciplines in a season of ascension is learning that everything available to you is not assigned to you.
Sometimes the greatest threat to your purpose is not distraction that looks bad.
It is distraction that looks good.
A good opportunity at the wrong time can still pull you out of alignment.
A relationship can be good and still not belong in your next season.
A project can be profitable and still cost more energy than God intended you to spend there.
That is why alignment must come before acceleration.
Proverbs 3:6 tells us:
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Direction matters.
Speed in the wrong direction is still misalignment.
Before you ask, “How quickly can I make this happen?” ask:
Does this belong to me?
Does it align with my assignment?
Does it align with my values?
Does it align with the season God has me in?
Does it deserve the capacity it will require?
Maturity is knowing that saying no can be just as obedient as saying yes.
Bloom Reflection
Look at everything currently competing for your attention.
Ask yourself:
What deserves more of me?
What deserves less of me?
What no longer deserves access to me at all?
Ascension is not just about adding.
Sometimes God elevates us by teaching us what to release.
Choose alignment over activity.
Every time.
